These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Becomi (“Becomi,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the Becomi mobile application and related services (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you can form a binding agreement with us. The App is offered to users in the United States and is not directed to individuals in the European Union or European Economic Area.
Becomi is a daily-ritual app for building the identity and habits behind the life you want, using self-reflection and behavioral-science-informed prompts. It is provided for personal, informational, and self-improvement purposes only.
Not professional advice. Becomi is not medical, mental-health, therapeutic, financial, or legal advice, and is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. We do not promise or guarantee any particular outcome, result, or life change. If you are experiencing a crisis or need professional help, contact a qualified provider or your local emergency services.
The App creates an anonymous account for you at first launch. You may optionally add an email address to secure your account and recover it on a new device; we use email one-time codes only. You are responsible for maintaining access to any email you connect and for activity that occurs under your account.
You own the content you create in the App — your statements, chosen areas, private story, daily intentions, logged actions, and journal entries (“Your Content”). You grant us only the limited license needed to store Your Content and display it back to you so the App works across your sessions and devices. We do not publish Your Content, share it with other users, analyze it to profile you, or use it to train or improve any artificial-intelligence system. You are responsible for Your Content and for keeping your own copies if you wish.

You agree not to misuse the App — including attempting to access another user’s data, reverse-engineer or disrupt the service, use it unlawfully, or infringe others’ rights. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or harms the service or other users.
The App itself — its software, design, text, prompts, and brand (excluding Your Content) — is owned by Becomi and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose. You may not copy, sell, or create derivative works from the App except as allowed by law.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BECOMI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Becomi and its operator from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
You may stop using the App and delete your account and data at any time from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. content ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any feature) at any time, and we are not liable if the App is unavailable for any period. We may also update these Terms from time to time; if we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
These Terms are between you and Becomi only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App; to the extent any support is required, we (not Apple) provide it. In the event the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App (including product-liability, legal-compliance, and consumer-protection claims). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as “terrorist-supporting,” and that you are not on any U.S. Government restricted-party list.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Becomi regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect (severability). Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Section headings are for convenience only.
